I have a Pentax K1000 totally manual camera and shoot slide film on it. I use a 270 or a 320 zoom lens and a Manfrotto tripod.

Most waterfalls and landscapes are used with this camera.

The closeups are from my Fujifilm 10 mp camera with 15 mm zoom lens. It also shoots macro and super macro.

Thanks for the compliment on my photos. I'm glad you like them and I hope you'll visit often.

Hi Shirley,

I would absolutely love some comfrey root. I am honored to have you offer this gift.

I am a student of both Susun Weed and Rosemary Gladstar. I am a follower of Starhawk. I would honor and care for this plant - this gift.

I live in the Sonoran Desert of AZ - for now. I do plan to move back to northern Michigan in 2 years. I would probably put my comfrey roots in large pots and would most definitely take them with me when I move. I'm not sure how to grow them in the desert. When I had one a number of years ago I was living in CO and for whatever reason the comfrey did not do well.

Thank you so very much for this offer,

Hey There, are you still looking for comfrey ? I grow it and can share some roots to you. I only share with those who know to honor the plant.

Hi Pam, Thank you for your comment about that photo. That poor mama dove is now on her 3rd - or is it 4th - set of eggs since spring. She needs to learn to tell her mate "No" :-D That first set of babies from my photo survived and flew away. We have not been so lucky with subsequent sets. She is nest sitting again as I write. My husband is considering moving her nest to a safer spot as our dogs lie in wait right underneath the nest just waiting for an egg or a new baby to fall out.

I came across your Blog while searching for some information about Roadrunners. I live on a farm in central Oklahoma that has an abbundance of wildlife and have noticed in the last few years that we seem to have a lot more Roadrunners in this area than in the past. Currently there is one that we suspect has a nest in some scrub beside our driveway because we see it in approximately the same place every day, usually acting wounded and running away. Anyway, enjoyed reading your Blog.

Lindy, aka Turtlewoman:

Did you know Sherrie is showing at the Book Haven the weekend coming up - June 26-28? I look forward to seeing what's she's come up wtih lately.
Judy in Salida - a Salida Dog Club member
I like your blog, Lindy. I'd do one, but can't think of anything interesting enough to say that anyone would read. I am on Facebook - the younger crowd got me into that and I am constantly surprised how many former students (I was a middle school teacher for three decades) have found me!
